Jr. High JAM

Jr. High JAM (Jesus and Me) meets year around on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and is open to students from 6th through 8th grade. The focus of JAM is to teach an understanding of how students can deepen their relationship with Christ. Students in this group start to learn that their faith is an individual responsibility and something that becomes part of their life.

One of the highlights of the Jr. High Ministries is the Youth Lock-In. Usually happening on the first weekend in December, the youth Lock-In is full of food, friends and fellowship from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Some of the highlights are an indoor snowball fight, sports tournaments and a relevant Christian discussion.

Sr. High Ministries

Sr. High Youth Fellowship

Sr. High YF (Youth Fellowship) is a gathering of imperfect people who come together in the simple belief that God makes a difference in our everyday lives. We fellowship. We eat. We laugh. We pray. We study God’s Word. We fail. We succeed. We live our lives in the certain hope that nothing can separate us from the love of God made known in Jesus Christ. We meet every Sunday night from 5:30-7:00 p.m.  in The Christ Center of Emmanuel Church. Come and join us!! We aren’t a goofy game group. We are a come and hang out in a safe place group. Whatever you believe, whatever is weighing on your heart, just come as you are. We trust that you will come to understand the words of the psalmist and “Taste and see that the LORD is good!”

One the of the highlights of High School Ministry is our Summer Mission Trip. Usually happening in the beginning of the summer just after school lets out. Past trips include Jamaica, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Dakota. Many of our trips have challenged students to grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
